EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR | CAITLIN DEMPSEY


This is her third year leading the Miss Valley of the Sun Scholarship Organization. She was introduced to Miss Arizona and Miss America when serving as a volunteer backstage and as a state auditor for more than five years, but always knew her passion for mentoring young women would guide her to being an Executive Director. Caitlin has over 25 years of experience in dance including ballet, jazz, lyrical/contemporary and tap with nationally recognized schools such as Pioneer Valley Ballet, New England Dance Conservatory and Broadway Dance Center in NYC. She currently teaches dance at LA Dance in Peoria, Arizona.


An accomplished business coach, Caitlin has worked with financial advisors and businesses on practice management tools and resources for more than a decade. With a keen ability to connect with professionals across varying demographics, Caitlin has had success working with clients ranging from top independent advisors seeking support around building multi-gen teams to multi-million dollar enterprises looking to explore and scale growth opportunities and has been featured as a keynote speaker at conferences and events for Goldbook Financial, Capstone Partners and more. She is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt, Certified DISC Coach and a Certified 12 Week Year Coach and Trainer.


Caitlin has a strong passion for community involvement and served as a board member on the Legend Springs PTO for more than five years in many different capacities. In her free time, Caitlin enjoys traveling, party/event planning, visiting breweries with her husband, watching her son play soccer, baseball and football and spending time at the dance studio with her daughter.

CO-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR | KATE HOFMANN

Baton twirling lead Kate to competing in the Miss Arizona Organization where she won Miss Arizona's Outstanding Teen 2009, and then continued as a Miss to earn multiple Preliminary, Quality of Life and Community Service awards. After graduating from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communication at Arizona State University, she became Miss Arizona 2016, speaking and serving at more than 300 events. 

Now as a REALTOR® with Realty One Group North Scottsdale, she utilizes her network of resources and valuable insights to provide guidance, education and quality service in residential real estate. From your first home to your forever home, and the investments in between, Kate is there to make sure you love where you live. 

She is also an experienced marketing and communications professional who has a passion for storytelling and helping others feel confident when connecting with their community, whether that’s on social media, television, a stage or in an interview room. Kate’s been in front of the camera on both sides of the microphone - educating viewers as a reporter and being interviewed as a spokesperson for events, local businesses, non-profit organizations and more. She’s been behind the camera coordinating television segments, magazine features, newspaper articles, online pieces and social media collaborations for businesses. Through her unique strategy, Kate crafts brand messaging and content that captivate, connect and converts. 

Kate enjoys spending time with her husband and two sons, working on home projects, cheering on Arizona’s sports teams (except those Wildcats), listening to podcasts, reading books, and testing out new recipes for baked goods.

OPERATIONS MANAGER & LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE PROGRAM COORDINATOR | WILLOW DOMINY

Willow has been an integral part of the Miss Valley of the Sun Organization since day one. Not only has she been the Panelists Chair for the previous three years, she helps with the day-to-day operations including logistics, paperwork, appearance coordination and more. She is also the Little Miss Sunshine Program Coordinator, our mentorship program to foster self confidence, poise, friendship and leadership for girls between 4 and 12. 

She held a variety of roles ranging from assistant teacher to director in childcare facilities from 1996 to 2013, leading staff, building financials, marketing, training, etc. Willow then opened her own in-home child care from 2013 to 2023, caring for children ages two months to ten years. 

A key member of the Las Brisas PTA Board since 2014, Willow helps with meetings, school events, communication, staff development and staff appreciation. She’s been Team Mom for her sons’ soccer, flag football and baseball teams, and is currently the Team Manager of the 2012 Boys Inferno Soccer Team. 

Willow is mom to Greyden, 15, and Langsten, 11, has three dogs (Boston, Sedona and Bear), and is newly married to her husband, Blaine. She loves to travel, camp, be outdoors, taking barre classes, hiking and baseball - especially the Red Sox!

FASHION, BRAND & TALENT CHAIR | ERIN STREMCHA

Erin is no stranger to the Miss America Organization and brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the Miss Valley of the Organization. She has served as a judge, earned awards and titles in various local and state pageants in both Florida and Arizona. She has an extensive dance background, involved in the dance world for over 20 years studying ballet, jazz, tap, hip-hop, and lyrical/contemporary dance with nationally recognized schools including the Joffrey Ballet, Milwaukee Ballet and Hartford Ballet.

Erin holds a master’s degree in business and is currently an accomplished Vice President of Marketing with over 25 years of resort, spa and beauty industry experience. She was awarded the “Stars of the Industry Award” by the national American Hotel and Lodging Association and has been quoted in the New York Times, Washington Post and appeared on local radio and television as an expert in her field.

Erin’s passion has always been to make a difference each day and be able to touch the lives of others. With her recently released children’s affirmation book Power Up, she gives back 100% of the royalties of each book sale to nonprofit organizations supporting children in foster care and victims of abuse.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys and family dog Piper, traveling, visiting the gym regularly and volunteering for her community.  She is currently serving as a member of the Child Help Wings Phoenix Chapter.

HEALTH, FITNESS & MODELING CHAIR | TIFFANY HORSTMAN

Tiffany Horstman is an Arizona native with a long standing history in the pageant world. As a former Miss Arizona Teen USA and Miss Arizona United States, she has more than 20 years of experience either competing, emceeing or choreographing in the pageant community. Tiffany is an Arizona State University graduate from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Mass Communications and furthered her career as a weeknight reporter for the ABC affiliate in Bakersfield, California. Her work was also featured on CNN and ABC WORLD NEWS.

Since returning home to Phoenix, Tiffany dove into the world of marketing and public relations, married her Kindergarten sweetheart Troy and has two beautiful children Landon and Raelynn. In her free time away from being a full time mom and spending time with her family, Tiffany is a 3x National Champion youth cheer coach and the head competition coach at North Canyon High School. She is excited for this incredible opportunity and looks forward to bringing her skills and passions to the MVOT Leadership team! 

INTERVIEW & PAPERWORK DEVELOPMENT CHAIR | CAITLIN MARTIN

With a passion for pageantry that has spanned 7 years, Caitlin has been crowned with several local titles in various organizations as well as presented with awards during her time as a titleholder. During her time in pageants Caitlin sought to bring awareness to and aid in ending the bullying epidemic plaguing our schools and still volunteers with various organizations throughout the valley to combat these issues. 

Beyond the stage, Caitlin is also a celebrated makeup artist, lending her artistic touch to pageant contestants as the official makeup artist sponsor for The Miss Valley of the Sun Organization. Her skills have been recognized and published, solidifying her reputation as a talented beauty professional in the industry.

Professionally, she thrives as a paralegal, specializing in commercial litigation under the guidance of a seasoned attorney. Her dedication and commitment to the legal field are undeniable, and she's gearing up to embark on a new chapter in her life by preparing for the LSAT and aspiring to attend law school in the coming year.
